Traditionally, there is an active week of conferences in St. Petersburg prior to SPIEF (St. Petersburg International Economic Forum).

On May 15-18, the IEEE International Conference «Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS-2018)» was held at ITMO University. This is the first event in a new series of conferences organized by the IEEE. Next will be held in Taiwan, then Finland, Canada and Germany.

Sergey Shcherbakov, Technical Director of «Beltel» took part in the conference as a speaker with the report «Big Data in Industry: How to predict analytics add value to a business». Sergey explained why industrial enterprises collect and store data, what depth of storage is required to solve certain tasks, and also gave examples of case studies from Beltel’s experience.
